ENGAGE SUNDAY – REACHING THE RELIGIOUSLY DISAFFILIATED

Brian’s book explores the rapid rise of Americans who identify with no religion—the “Nones,” now making up over a quarter of the population and an even larger share of younger generations. Drawing on survey data, it examines why many are leaving or avoiding organized religion and the challenges this poses for the future of Christianity. Brian also highlights emerging efforts to engage the Nones, especially relational, non-proselytizing approaches like the Nuns & Nones movement that emphasize dialogue, shared experiences, and spiritual accompaniment.
